Kids First! believes the years from birth to age 5 are the most critically important period for human development.  High quality early learning initiatives can greatly improve a child’s readiness to begin formal schooling and to thrive in subsequent years.

Kids First! support is focused on two areas:

1. School learning—Kids First! supports the expansion of qualified pre-schools, the quality of education in pre-schools and the affordability of attending qualified pre-schools.
   
   
2. Home learning—Kids First! provides instruction, tools and other assistance to help parent(s)   create a learning environment in the home and supports programs which actively involve the parent(s) in their child’s education.
